If you want to feel the holiday spirit, make sure to catch a showing of The Polar Express on IMAX at TELUS World of Science Edmonton starting November 26. The showing will last until December 18, and there will be a final showing on December 24.
The Polar Express is a beloved computer-animated fantasy adventure film released in 2004. It was directed by Oscar® winner Robert Zemeckis and has a total running time of 1 hour and 40 minutes.
It is based on the children’s book with the same title by Chris Van Allsburg. It tells a story of a young boy who sees a train bound for the North Pole outside his window on Christmas Eve. He is invited to get on the train by the conductor.
The boy then joins a group of other children to see Santa Claus as he prepares for Christmas. It’s a film that fills you up with hope and teaches you about friendship, courage, and Christmas spirit.
As a bonus, the movie stars Tom Hanks, Nona Gaye, Daryl Sabara, Jimmy Bennett, and Eddie Deezen. It’s definitely a film you don’t want to miss.
