Echo Karaoke & Lounge caught our attention with its extensive list of songs. Their song library spans multiple languages, including English, Korean, and Mandarin. This ensures that everyone, from pop fans to K-pop enthusiasts, can find something to sing.
Just take note, the song navigation system is in Chinese, which will be challenging if you’re a non-Chinese-speaking guest. We recommend asking for assistance from the staff – they’re really friendly there so you won’t have a hard time.
The rooms themselves are noteworthy, too. Their modern design and noise-canceling feature ensures that sounds don’t bleed out.
The food and drink menu was another highlight. You can try a lot of signature comfort foods like their sweet potato fries, chicken wings, and takoyaki.
Their cocktail selection, on the other hand, includes the lychee martini and piña colada.
That said, some menu items may not be available during peak hours into midnight. Fortunately, this only happens occasionally and you’ll still likely score some goods when you’re there.

OPERATING HOURS | Sunday - Thursday: 6:00 PM - 1:30 AM
Friday - Saturday: 6:00 PM - 2:45 AM |
One of the most notable aspects of Soju Karaoke and Bar is its private karaoke rooms, which are spacious and well-equipped. The size makes them ideal for big groups, so flexibility isn’t an issue here.
We also liked their reasonable rates. Their rooms for big groups are priced at $40 per hour, with a mandatory 18% gratuity added for groups of six or more.
The song selection is extensive, with hits from multiple languages – though it could benefit from more classic hits. And just a tip for non-Korean speakers: the controls are primarily in Korean, so having someone familiar with the language can be a big help.
Unlike other karaoke bars that only offer simple foods, dining here is a whole other experience. Guests can order from a diverse Korean-inspired menu directly from their rooms. Food portions are generous as well and are ideal for sharing.
Best-selling delicacies include corn cheese, Korean fried chicken, and takoyaki. There are drinks like yogurt soju cocktails too, but the pricing may be a little high for some options.
Fun karaoke night
“Excellent atmosphere, great service, very kind and accommodating staff. We were a wild bunch and they handled us with patience and professionalism. Highly recommend if you want to take some friends to have a good Karaoke night! Food was pretty nice as well, had their takoyaki which was decent.”

Keeps up with new songs
“The Karaoke machines in the private rooms are really good quality and they’re keeping up with more new songs. Food is on the pricier side but overall I would highly recommend, especially with big groups. I also suggest you call and book a room at least 2 wks ahead of time.”

OPERATING HOURS | Wednesday - Thursday, Sunday - Monday: 6:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Friday - Saturday: 6:00 PM - 2:00 AM |
After visiting The Voice Karaoke, it’s clear why this venue is a popular spot for karaoke enthusiasts in the city. Located conveniently in a vibrant area, it’s easy for those who work in the area to squeeze in karaoke fun after work hours.
The rooms are spacious and clean. They’re equipped with large seating, disco lights, and air conditioning. In short, they ticked all the boxes when it comes to comfortability.
Contrary to what we’ve heard from a few customers, we actually found a solid collection of English songs. While there aren’t a lot of newer songs, the classics are well-covered.
Additionally, the touch-operated karaoke system is relatively easy to use once you get the hang of it. Although we do want to give a head’s up that certain units are pretty laggy and troublesome to use – we recommend asking for assistance to get a well-working system.
Guests can also enjoy a variety of food and drinks, which are typical of karaoke venues. The menu features crowd-pleasers like finger foods and cocktails. The quality isn’t the best in the city, but their affordability is what makes them better than otters.
Great karaoke place
“Great place for karaoke! We went there on Monday, the service was very helpful. Easy to find songs, the guy explained it very clearly. We will come back!”

Number one karaoke spot
“Had an amazing time here tonight! I was hesitant to go here with all the mixed reviews but I am very happy we went. I was worried about the system being difficult to use or there not being enough English songs as stated in other reviews. That was not the case, I’ve never seen so many songs to choose from in a private room and the tablet was very easy to use. Songs download quick and once you get a queue going it’s non stop! Definitely now my number 1 karaoke spot in the city!”

When we visited Rosie’s Bar & Grill, we immediately noticed the atmosphere. The place, especially during karaoke nights, is super energetic. There were lots of groups of people having fun and belting out their favorite tunes.
What stands out most about Rosie’s is its impressive range of karaoke songs. There are classic hits and modern chart-toppers, so there’s something for everyone.
Just take note – they don’t have private karaoke rooms, so expect to sing in front of everyone. We understand that that may not appeal to other people, but it’s also a nice advantage to those who don’t want to spend on high hourly booking rates.
Plus, the food is easy to enjoy. They serve up classic bar fare like burgers, fries, and wings – all of which are available until close.
This being an iconic dive bar in the area also gives customers unlimited access to beers and cocktails.
Most fun karaoke bar”
“This is by far the most fun place around Whyte. No people looking to start issues, just people having fun and singing cheesy songs. The food is average bar food but when you’ve had a few drinks does it really matter? It’s also super friendly to your wallet. You can have a good night off $50 here.”

Fun place full of singing
“Very nice environment, nice karaoke place, a lot of support and people willing to do it, even at some songs the full place was singing it, we had 2 birthday celebrations in the place and they sing the birthday song everyone together, very nice. Take on mind it is an small place so reserve with anticipation and no worries about the parking as there is plenty on the parking of the plaza. Good prices and a bunch of options for desserts and eat, served until closing, we liked it.”

OPERATING HOURS | Monday - Sunday: 11:00 AM - 2:00 AM |
After multiple visits to Rosie’s Bar & Grill, we finally understand why locals call these the mecca of karaoke in Edmonton. The energy is highly infectious, particularly during karaoke nights, which start around 9:00 or 10:00 PM.
Karaoke nights happen 7 days a week, and although there are no private rooms, the range of songs is enjoyable.
It’s best to note however, that there may be nights when the rotation is long. This, of course, won’t be a problem if you’re planning to stay for long.
The place also has a miniature stage, complete with lighting and multiple screens that will make you feel like a local pop star on tour.
The food and drinks are another highlight here. Customers here often rave about the pizza that’s made with house-made dough. They also have a wide selection of cocktails and beers that are all reasonably priced.
Of course, it’s not all perfect. Non-alcoholic options here are quite pricey and the range of activities can be a little too overwhelming.
Big music selection
“Great karaoke spot! Great selection of music, and loved the digital songbook and request setup! Friendly folks on both sides of the bar, and plenty of room for all the singers-in-waiting.”

Awesome place to be
