Wondering where to get the best motorcycle repair services around Edmonton? Look no further, as we’ve put together a list of shops that’ll get your motorbike back up and running in no time!
And as for your motorbike repair FAQs, check out our section below where we outline and answer common concerns on topics like parts, replacements, and more!
How much do motorcycle repairs cost in Edmonton?
Generally, the cost of motorcycle repairs depends on the extent of damage or which part needs replacing. As such, it is best to turn to the experts to get an accurate quote.
That said, there are shops in Edmonton that charge at an hourly rate for their services, coming up at $99 an hour.
However, there may also be additional service and supply costs on top of the hourly rate, such as tire balancing. At around $429 to $479, tire replacements include all the fees for balancing, mounting, taxes, and the cost of the tires.
Mounting and balancing tires costs around $50 for the front and $60 for the rear. Oil changes come at around $124.
It is also important to note that while some repairs are necessary, major repairs can be avoided by coming in for a motorcycle tune-up to ensure that your ride is in optimal condition. Experts recommend doing it once every 5,000 miles.
By doing this, you never get surprise breakdowns from your bike. Accidents may be averted and costs may be kept to a minimum, as repairs can cost considerably more for unmaintained motorbikes.
Oil changes should be done every 3,000 miles or so. Brake pads should only be replaced every 40,000 miles.
Chain maintenance should be done at the 5,000 mile mark, though if you’re confident, this can reach up to around 20,000. Tires should be changed at the 3,000 mile mark.

Perfect for off-warranty Harleys
“Nobody better to repair a Harley in Edmonton but if you’re reading this you already know that! I wouldn’t go anywhere else if my bike was off warranty and I paid the bill.”––Tom Roberts
Went out of their way
“I would love to give a huge shout out to George at Welch’s motorcycle repairs. This man went out of his way to get me back on the road. Riding up from Calgary to Grande Prairie on a holiday. Blew a front tire on my bike and he fixed me up with new rubber and tube when he was closed. Now that’s what I call amazing. Thanks again George.”––Karl Richards
2. The Bike Shoppe
Service range | ★★★★★ (5/5) |
Client satisfaction | ★★★☆☆ (3/5) |
Service promptness | ★★★★☆ (4/5) |
Ever since being founded in 2017, The Bike Shoppe has had the goal of providing clients accurate and personalized repair services that simply can’t be found in dealerships.
Probably as a result of pursuing that goal, they’ve created a lot of great relationships with their clients. We certainly found a lot of strong testimonials from repeat clients.
To add to that, they pair strong customer service with knowledge and expertise. We should also note that their team is composed of factory-trained individuals, so you know your motorbike is in good hands.
Their BMW repairman is a Master Level technician who received training from BMW’s factory programs, for instance.
Same goes with their Ducati technicians, whose expertise come from not just 9 years of exclusively repairing and maintaining Ducati motorcycles, but also from the Level 2 factory training from Ducati’s North American facilities.
They also offer the most competitive pricing for motorcycle tires and tire balancing out there, one thing that gets them a lot of repeat customers in Edmonton.
Among other things, they also refuse to use any beads or liquids that will damage tire pressure sensors. This can help with tire balancing, so it’s a practice we’re in favor of.
They have special motor oil changes as well, using synthetic motor oils that get you even more mileage, at around 5,000 miles before your next change.
Finally, it’s worth noting that they have winter vehicle storage that comes with free pickups for clients in Edmonton.
Check out the price list for their main services below:
Base shop rate (applies for all services, including repairs for BMW and Ducati models) | $99/hour |
Tire changes (includes all environmental fees and taxes, mounting and balancing) | $429.99 (Dunlop Q3 Tire Special) |
