Occasional delays in email replies have also taken place from time to time. A client, for example, had to stop by the office to confirm the quote due to a rep “ghosting” them.

Among their standout features is backing up services with a 100% guarantee. The perk stretches for a year, covering problems that arise later.
From experience, techs such as Chris Brown and Alex Y move fast as well. I’ve hired them for same-day and next-day services before; both came through.
Can’t say bad things about their client care either. They’re often friendly, communicative, and respectful of my space.
More than anything, both yield positive results across maintenance, repair, replacement, and installation.
The same can’t be said for Enercare’s phone reps. Some have faced criticism for acting rudely and making clients wait for quotes.
Dialling back on the upselling would also be ideal. Understandably, not everyone likes the idea of a salesman showing up next to their techs.

What our team loves most about Legacy is the coordination. They have in-house techs rather than subcontractors, so clients normally deal with one team only.
Certain benefits they offer are hard to come by elsewhere, too. For example, you can request quotes for free and set up a monthly payment scheme with no upfront cost.
The catch is Legacy’s relatively shorter tenure, as they “recently” opened in 2018. Every other pick is nearing or past the 10-year threshold.
Worse still, there have been some instances of no-shows for scheduled meetings in the past. While the reasons were usually valid, it could’ve been communicated more effectively.
On the upside, you’re looking at a company with cost-effective maintenance plans. The lowest package is priced at $11.95 per month and has perks such as no-cost diagnostics, emergency priority service within 48 hours, and purchase discounts.

Alex came and installed our humidifier and was very nice and respectful and knowledgeable about the product installed as well as the furnace that Legacy also had installed previously. 4. Furnace Family Heating, Air Conditioning & Plumbing

Furnace Family is worth phoning if you don’t like speaking with call centre reps or robots. Most times, there’s an in-house tech who’ll respond no matter the hour.
Their estimators, mainly Chris, get plenty of love too. Options are normally broken down in depth, and they rarely upsell, as clients say.
Our biggest issue is that Furnace has abruptly cancelled a few appointments before, sometimes two days prior. That’s a shame, given the strong punctuality rating of their techs.
Pricing isn’t the cheapest in Edmonton either.
But to be fair, costs may be reduced by joining the referral program, waiting for discounts (usually drops before summer), or settling on monthly payments.
Besides, investing in this lot isn’t a shabby call since they’re a full-service company, offering installations, repairs, permit processing aid, removals, and cleanups.
The central ACs they stock come from established brands as well. Think Lennox and Daikin.

They were respectful of my place
They were one of a few companies I got a quote for an AC from. Kevin, who I had already dealt with 4 years ago and fixed my furnace, was not pushy or tried to up sell me. He gave me options for what I only needed and prices were reasonable.
Day of installation with Lee and Kevin were great. They were respectful of my place and made sure it was kept clean during and after, especially working in the rain. Lee explained how the system worked and how to clean it. Looking forward to many years of using my new AC.

Your unit’s brand will unlikely hurt ProSolutions’ service quality. Since 2000, this crew has been installing, repairing, and tuning up nearly all of Edmonton’s go-to names, such as AirEase and RunTru.
What’s neater is that they respond to emergency call-outs even during long weekends. Our interviewees claimed the pros arrived on schedule, with the required AC parts loaded in their vans, resulting in timely repairs.
If you’re on the anxious or “low-budget” side, note that specials come with their services. That includes comfort, “price-beat,” and property protection assurances, as well as referral rewards, “payment later” schemes, and summer discounts.
A more restrained approach to upselling would be ideal, though. We met past clients who praised the upfront costs but grumbled over the high-pressure sales tactics and limited options.
The receptions could also be friendlier and sound less frustrated, especially when sorting out queries or follow-ups.
