“The service is great!  The food is great!  All the staff make a effort to make you feel welcome!!!  They have been my go to sushi place and the quality is amazing.  This is my number one sushi destination in the city!  Thank you Zen.”

Nicky S. comments on their sashimi servings and services:

“This is our go-to sushi place; the food quality is spectacular and the customer service is exceptional. If you love sashimi like us and are going for lunch, be sure to ask for the Dinner Menu to maximize your sashimi intake.

They are always so kind and welcoming which keeps my wife and I coming back for more, like a toxic relationship because of the damage on our bank account except the food is actually amazing so it’s also like a healthy relationship in that regard.

Highly recommend this place. Keep up the amazing work, you guys!”

 Customer Reviews

Edwin D. has this to say about their take out menu:

“This review is more for the Take out section. Although it is a small room it is worth the wait for a deliciously made sushi. They serve some unique sushi on their menu not like the traditional sushi people normally see, better than
Mikado. Plus they have slushies, smoothies, and tea with lychee and/or tapioca my favourite. Menu is moderately pricey but better than the average sushi like Tokyo Express. Parking is large, staff is friendly, atmosphere is semi-cozy in the lobby for take out. No washrooms for the Take out lobby. I have dined in here before and it appears to not have changed too much and is very chilled but can be busy in this area at times, see photos. They do have specials at certain times and days as well. Recommended for sushi lovers.

If your looking to take someone on a date, this place would be one of my choices.”

Check out this review from Lydia F., regular customer of Sumo Sumo

“Every time I am in Sherwood Park I try to will whoever is with me to come to this restaurant. The sushi is always fresh and prepared well. The restaurant is clean and fairly well maintained. Some of their bench chairs need some new leather covers but the overall restaurant is very zen. They have fake plants and bamboo all over the restaurant. We happened to come during their lunch hour special so it was an extra bonus! Our server was also extra friendly and polite. This is by far my favourite sushi restaurant of all time!”

Customer Reviews

Take a look at what Epiphany C. thinks of their service:

“If I could give more stars I would.. my experience was great! All of the food was very flavourful! I did not dislike one of the things I ordered. That is very rare especially when it comes to AYCE dining. The butterfish was amazing, it
just melts in your mouth. The staff was very friendly and the spacing was great. Whenever our water was halfway, we got a refill. The waitresses checked on how we were doing perfectly (not too much, not too little.) We left with
very full bellies & the total w/o tip was $73 for two people. Completely worth it! Will definitely be back. One of my new favourites in Edmonton.”

Coral B. has this to say about their meals and services:

“Served very good food   Fresh and large portions. The ice cream finish was a nice touch. Loved the Sunomono noodle soup. It’s all you can eat for lunch. I recommend this place highly”
