Kultura: 2022 Edmonton Filipino Festival this September 

This September 17 and 18, the 2022 Edmonton Filipino Festival named “Kultura” will take place in Heritage Amphitheatre. On Saturday, September 17, gates open at 10:00 AM and close at 10:00 PM. 

On September 18, the program will start at 10:00 AM but will close earlier at 7:00 PM. 

It’s two days of celebrating everything about Filipino culture. 

Here you’ll get to taste delicious Filipino dishes and delicacies originating from all over the Philippines. Yes, you’ll see staples like lumpia, kakanin (rice cakes), adobo, and kare-kare

You’ll also enjoy Filipino entertainment, with music from Filipino artists, dances, and different kinds of art. They will even invite a Filipino celebrity loved by the community, although they’re keeping who it is under wraps. 

Guess you have to be there to find out who it is. Aside from that, there will be a lot of cultural performances from local and international groups.
