I tagged along with a friend to Forever Young Laser Skin Rejuvenation a few weeks ago—she was getting treatment for acne scars, and I ended up really curious about the place.

I visited Albany Cosmetic and Laser Centre to learn more about their acne scar treatments. The place is run by Dr. Kamal Alhallak, who’s seriously qualified—he has a Ph.D. in Pharmacy and an MBA.
The team there includes doctors, nurses, and aestheticians—all of whom were super professional yet still friendly during my undercover consultation.
They offer a bunch of options for acne scars—everything from laser resurfacing to microneedling and fillers. They even offer subcision, which I didn’t even know was a thing until then!
What really caught my eye was their Fractora RF microneedling, which combines radiofrequency with needles to boost collagen. I’ve heard from a few people who tried it there that their scars softened a lot over a few months.
Another cool thing is their use of Bellafill fillers that support collagen growth, so the improvements stick around longer.
One thing, though—there are so many options that it can feel a bit overwhelming if you’re not sure what you want or need.

My sister’s been going to Tropicalaser Alberta for a while now, and she can’t stop raving about how friendly and detailed the staff is.
It’s run by Maie Kellerman, who’s a chemical engineer turned medi-spa owner—kind of cool, right? You can tell the place is backed by some serious know-how but still feels super approachable.
