The Edmonton Convention Centre doesn’t get nearly as much credit as it deserves; not only for the prompt and friendly service their team provides, or their excellence in the quality of their physical/tangible product like the exquisite meals the chef and his team pump out so effortlessly – or the people who maintain their spaces and ensure the quality aesthetics are always presentable. What I’m talking about is the credit they deserve for their world class innovation that building boasts and has done so for years. For 20 or more years now, this convention has been a leader in sustainability – look it up, it’s quite fascinating.
Also I admire how much they do for the city of Edmonton and all the folks that live here. Edmonton wouldn’t be the same without this marvelous facility.

I got married here last year in Summer and it was a wonderful event. The grand hall at the Oasis Centre is a beautiful and elegant interior space with a high ceiling and is very spacious. There is a large, blooming garden at the back of the centre which is a wonderful spot to gather and for photos. The staff there were excellent in coordinating and facilitating everything – it is definitely one of the nicest event venues in Edmonton. Thank you.

Offering an amazing venue for wedding rentals, corporate event rentals, event rentals and more, Meridian Banquets is a place to be. This is a family-owned business too that specializes in weddings and banquets of all types.
Their large event venue features a bar, coat check, large washrooms, a green room/bride room, and plenty of space for your guests. With high chandeliers and gorgeous lighting, this place is great for black-tie events and more.
They have a large menu that includes alcoholic drinks and even have an Eastern menu that features many Asian dishes. So, if you need great food for your conference, this is a good choice.
