Since they don’t technically sell insurance but purchase it and arrange everything for you instead, they seem to have their clients’ interests at heart. Transactions are legitimate, and secure, and the process is streamlined and organized. 

They’re also very communicative, so you don’t need to stress yourself about getting updates because they do so regularly. Their brokers are all licensed and qualified, and they uphold strict standards when it comes to service. 

They really match you to a policy that fits your needs and help you find the best deal. They’re connected to a wide range of insurance companies and have a firm grasp of the market. 

Plus, they do deep research about your home, such as the location of the property, and its rebuild cost, among other things. These factors help them determine the coverage you need and your premiums – they’ll make sure to take your budget and needs into consideration.

Another great option in Edmonton is Armour Insurance. They’re a full-service brokerage with access to a wide range of insurance providers. 

From our experience, they’re very skilled in ensuring you get the most bang for your buck. We like that their customer service is satisfactory. 

They have a strong relationship with their clients and have effective claim processes, which is one of their strong points. 

They even have an application where you can easily track and review policies and coverages, make changes to drivers, report auto claims easily, track claims, and even view brokers’ information easily. It’s easily downloadable. 

We think they have one of the more advanced apps available than competitors. We like how sleek and intuitive everything is. 

Even if you use their online forms, they get back to you quickly. We like that they’re very communicative. 

You can even get a quote from them instantly for home and car insurance. They don’t have that option for other categories, though – you’ll have to request a quote from them by calling or messaging them. 

Personally, we’re amazed at how many categories of insurance they offer. Aside from home and condo insurance, they have a wide range of car, commercial, life, critical illness, and group insurance. 

We did notice, however, that they don’t offer rental property or tenant insurance. So that’s something to consider. 

One other thing we like about them is they have an automatic annual policy review. This makes keeping on top of your policies easy.

Based on our experience, their prices are reasonable, and they have comprehensive coverage. Plus, they have amazing customer support. 

In case you need assistance, they have a call center with multilingual staff ready to help you that’s open for extended hours, six days every week. 

They also have an omnichannel service that makes the whole process over the phone, via email or in person cohesive and seamless. They also have a running application where you can track and manage policies and payments. 

Plus, you get a loyalty e-card you can use for discounts from loyalty program vendors. These efforts show us that they really go above and beyond for their clients. 

As for their offerings,  they offer three kinds of property insurance: home, condo, and tenant insurance. 

You can get insurance not just in Edmonton, but in most of Alberta and Ontario. So if you’re searching for a brokerage with wider reach, they might be a good option for you. 

They also offer car, recreation, and business insurance. Their categories aren’t as extensive as their competitors, we noticed. 

So that’s something you’ll have to consider. They don’t have life and critical illness insurance, for example. 

Still, if you’re solely looking for home insurance we think that they’re worth looking into.

Although they are smaller and younger than most of the companies on this list, we still thought they were worth mentioning because of their personalized approach to doing things. 

Personally, we like how hands-on they are when dealing with their clients. From the get-go, they explained everything we needed to know and answered any pressing questions promptly. 

They offer home, condo, and renter and tenant insurance. Aside from that, they also have auto and business insurance. 

We do wish they had more categories available, like life insurance, for example. 

Despite them not being a one-stop shop for all your insurance needs, they’re very competent at what they do offer. So we think they’re still a great brokerage to check out, especially if you’re looking for good deals on bundled home and auto insurance. 

Their home insurance has comprehensive coverage, based on our experience. It’s also easy to talk to their brokers and they help you to get the best deal possible. 

We like how streamlined their claims process is, with 24/7 contacts available in case any issues arise. We do wish they have an application developed like other companies for faster tracking of claims, however.

We never felt like the whole interaction was just a transaction. They take time to get to know your personal needs, budget, and goals. 

All their brokers are easy to talk to, polite, and very professional. They also make sure to update you regularly. 

We think they’re a good find if you’re looking for a smaller brokerage handling your insurance. They don’t have call centers of 24/7 chat support, but they have direct email, line, and voicemail so you can talk with them if you have concerns. 

They don’t have an application like their competitors, though. So if that’s something you’re particular about, then it might be best to check the other ones on this list that offer that. 

We do like that they offer a wide range of categories of insurance. Aside from home, condo, renter,  and auto insurance, they offer life, commercial, and recreational insurance. 

We like that they have coverage even for niche interests and properties such as recreational vehicles. They’re an all-around place to get different kinds of insurance. 

Aside from their broad range of offerings, we like that they offer custom plans. For home insurance in particular, we like that you can tailor the insurance plan depending on the coverage you need.
