Another great thing about this company is that you can request to make a stop at the donation center or eco station. You just need to pay for the time it takes to go there as well as the per item fee at the Eco station.
They also have packing and storage services on their arsenal. One thing we don’t like however, is that access to your goods while in indoor storage is limited.

After buying our dream acreage I did some shopping around for movers. I was impressed with Akash and the team here because not only did he look at other quotes I had received, he made recommendations on choosing the 3 man crew instead to get the job done on time. Flex Movers is another great option if you’re on the prowl for a great moving company in Edmonton. We think they’re one of your best bets if you want a company specializing in senior and student moves (you can even get a discount!).
What we like about this company is that aside from a free quote, they have clear-cut prices and ranges available on their website. So you already have an idea of how much your move will cost from the get-go.
They highly specialize in local commercial and residential moves. You can check their website if your area is within their scope of service areas – you can look it up on their map.
Aside from moving services, they also have a great packing and junk removal service.
We do wish they had provisions for long-distance moves and other specialized services, however. Still, if you don’t need those and only need an efficient and reliable local moving service, they can give you a good deal.
Based on what we’ve seen and on our poll of their previous customers, they have very reasonable rates. So if you’re on a tight budget, they’re a great option.

They also offer other unique services as well such as packing, sorting, trash removal, decluttering, organizing, and assisting with the moving day. That means that they’ll coordinate with the movers, arrange utility changes, transfer medications, etc.
Do know that depending on the situation, they might hire other contractors and movers if necessary.

All 5 ladies were personable and pleasant. The move-in was exceptional! The 3 furniture movers were careful and nothing was scratched. The ladies unpacked every box and set up the kitchen, the curio cabinet, and even made the bed. When my parents walked in after all was ready they were amazed and appreciated that their new place already looked like home. My mom told me she thought the invoice was very reasonable, you don’t hear that from a senior very often! ElderMove will be going back to the house to empty it for sale. These guys were absolutely amazing! I scheduled them for a move for my parents in a different city than myself. Booking was easy and truly stress-free just as they advertise. Even when things went sideways with the elevator at the new place and our stress went up, College Hunks rescheduled with zero hassle. They were even willing to walk everything up 3 flights of stairs if they needed to. When Max, Jack, and Nathan showed up, they were professional, courteous, and very helpful beyond what was expected. They were thoughtful, polite, funny, and really eased my parent’s tension around the move. They “worked like hell”, as my mom put it, and impressed us all. Their prices are very reasonable and they came in extremely close to the estimate given. I particularly appreciated that the pricing was straightforward and that billing was in 15 minute increments after the 2 hour hour minimum. (Competitor’s estimates were at least 400 dollars more even with a “seniors discount” plus “mid month move discount” probably because they had a 4 hour minimum, plus charging for drive time before and after the move.) College Hunks were so awesome to work with. To start off with, we selected them because they were able to rehome/donate our old furniture for us which was a huge plus. Secondly, we had to reschedule our pick up twice because of delivery issues with the new furniture, and they were a breeze to deal with when it came to bumping up the day/time. They were responsive to calls and let us know when they’d be here. And the guys who hauled it away (Max and Gerome) were solid! Had the pleasure of having the crew come and help me and my family move to a new house. Tiffany who helped set up the move was very responsive and friendly and was a pleasure to deal with. Come the day, the crew showed up on time and got to work right away. Fast, strong, but also careful. Though there were some minor hiccups and the final fee was a bit higher than the quote, understandable given all the heavy equipment and furniture they had to move and set up. After seeing them at work, we can attest that they offer great care to your items during moves. Their employees are well-trained and equipped to do the work so they have a quick turnaround time.
Their trucks are also cleaned and sanitized before and after each move. We also like how considerate and organized their team is when moving items to and from locations.
Plus, they’re all so friendly! We liked that the communication was constant and that we didn’t have to follow up all that much.

We have moved with other companies before but this was hands down the best moving experience we have had. We had a somewhat involved move between North Vancouver and Vancouver Island with about 10 days of required storage. We were quoted a flat rate for our move, which gave us peace of mind that we knew exactly what we’d be paying for up front (as opposed to other quotes we received that were by weight and time and subject to fluctuation). Throughout the entire process we had a great single point of contact who was exceptionally responsive. The Movers themselves called when on the way with the trucks and were on time on both sides of the move.
