Great local, family run Thai spot in south Edmonton! Passed by multiple times on the way in/out of the Edmonton Public Library, but didn’t actually set foot inside until recently. Going to be hard to resist passing by now without grabbing a bite!
I’m no expert on Thai cuisine, but everything from the full dishes like pad thai, to the sides like coconut rice, were much to my palette’s liking. The papaya salad (I forget the dish’s name) is perhaps the best salad I have EVER had from anywhere. Fantastic.
Price is reasonable, but like most ethnic food spots, I think the dining experience is best enjoyed with a group where you can order multiple dishes and not feel too bad about the bill after. 😉

After touring Thailand and experiencing the richness, aroma and taste bud tantalizing street food… I can honestly say that the food at the Thai Valley Grill best captures the essence of Thai cuisine. If you’re looking for something more authentic… then i suggest looking for a seat sale!

The food is very delicious, not salty and cooked with care. Our waiter was a super kind young man and he gave us excellent service. I highly recommend this place.
—fahmida hassan, Google Reviews
Very flavourful and authentic Thai food. Customer service was also very good and made good recommendations. Only thing for me is that I feel price to portion sizes is not the best VFM. Portion sizes are quite small for the price you pay. I’m lucky my SO is a extremely light eater or this could easily have turned into over $100 meal (we were actually getting kind of close to it and only ordered a few items on the menu to share). Still very good food and good service and still recommend; just be prepared to spend a bit extra than normal to ensure you leave with feeling full.
