Echo Cycle has recently changed ownership and is now solely focused on selling pre-owned units, aftermarket accessories, and used parts. They also offer an assortment of services exclusive for motorcycles.

We find it curious that they sell a variety of odds and ends in their inventory, which include lawnmowers, chainsaws, and grass trimmers. We feel that it might be better to sell these under an entirely different moniker so as not to leave their customers confused.

Despite their odd selection of random inventory items, Echo Cycle makes up for it in the services they provide. Their experienced journeyman technicians can perform a thorough inspection of your imported or salvaged vehicle to check that it meets Alberta’s requirements.

Their inspections are not limited to Edmonton either since they can travel out of Alberta for a cost of $220. Take note that they do charge a premium for salvage unit inspections as well as a separate fee for assessing the safety of your vehicles.

What we like best at Echo Cycle is their Dyno Facility in which they can assess any problems with your bike with a special dynamometer.  Your vehicle can be diagnosed in a shorter time to detect problems in the engine and drivetrain without needing to go out into the open road.

They can also remap or reprogram your engine control unit and tweak it for the best performance. We like this service because it’s especially useful when you’ve just customized a motorcycle or have purchased a pre-owned one.
