I turned up late to dine with my family who had already ordered It was not the first time dining here for them, just me. I had no idea they closed at 8pm. My girlfriend and i are from out of town and have rarely found a restaurant that has impresses us as much as Sabor. A real gem. We had our first dinner out in 3 1/2 months on Friday. We knew that our first choice, once places started to reopen for dine-in service, would absolutely be The Marc!!! They are doing an epic job. The owners and staff made us feel comfortable and well cared for… as they have done for years and years. Their dining room setup is perfect for physical distancing between groups, but it is still cozy and elegant!! Staff are all masked and continue to provide the highest professional service.
As a business owner myself, I know the struggle we are all going through. We would recommend them 110% to anyone who wants to venture out into the restaurant world again.
Oh… and aside from all the hard work they are putting in with this “new normal”, they are forever creative with my vegan needs. The chef was ready with a most delicious plan!!

The Marc is a French casual/fine dining restaurant serving some of the best food in Edmonton. I call it casual/fine dining because even though the restaurant is formal, you will not feel out of place if you’re not wearing a suit. The wait staff is friendly and not pretentious.
The appetizers are well proportioned and varied. There are multiple appetizers that feature a large amount of bread, so plan accordingly.
The shallots and pork belly is amazing, but very rich.
