The 5 Best Lymphatic Drainage Massages in Edmonton for Recovery and Self-Care

We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Experience: We looked for therapists who have enough training in lymphatic drainage and experience in handling different types of clients.

Location: We prioritise clinics with convenient locations and have a calming environment that would make you really feel relaxed.

Pricing: We compared pricing to find a service that felt fair without compromising quality. We also searched clinics with package deals.

Customer Service: We paid attention to how welcoming and supportive the staff were. We asked around to confirm this.

A close friend of mine recently gave birth, and like most new moms, she hasn’t quite felt like herself lately. Her legs and feet still feel swollen, and she’s been reading up on ways to ease the water retention and bloating.

When she asked around, other moms recommended lymphatic drainage massage. She’s been meaning to get one, but hasn’t had the time to research where to go.

Wanting to help, I teamed up with my Best in Edmonton crew to look for the city’s best clinics. After extensive research (and trying a few ourselves), here’s a roundup of the best lymphatic drainage massages in Edmonton!

How much does a lymphatic drainage massage cost in Edmonton?

A lymphatic drainage massage in Edmonton costs at least $110 for a 60-minute session. There are shorter sessions, like 30-minute and 45-minute treatment, which typically costs from $50 to $90.

Integrated Therapies is a full-service massage clinic offering acupuncture, manual osteopathy, and massage therapy.

While they’re not a huge team, we appreciate that they have over 10 registered therapists. This allows them to serve more clients effectively.

One of their speciality services is lymphatic drainage massage. It’s often recommended to clients recovering from surgeries, experiencing chronic swelling, and those looking to improve their immune health.

Their pricing for a 45-minute lymphatic drainage massage is $95, which we think is fair. They did mention that rates may increase soon, but we like that they’re upfront and transparent about it.

We also like that the clinic has free and ample parking. Plus, the fact that they are open 7 days a week makes them more accessible to clients who need therapies.

Another big plus is their direct billing for insurance. It’s pretty convenient, with many clients saying it saved them the hassle of filing reimbursements themselves.

We’re just disappointed that they don’t always give advance notice if a booked service isn’t available. For instance, a client booked a cupping session only to be told that cups weren’t available, so she had to proceed with an alternative treatment.

Pros

  • Wide range of services
  • Speciality in lymphatic drainage massage
  • 10+ registered therapists
  • Competitive pricing
  • Transparent pricing updates
  • Free and ample parking is available
  • Open 7 days a week
  • Direct billing to insurance

Cons

  • Some services are unavailable without notice

Professional therapist and nice environment

“I had an amazing experience at The Integrated Therapies! The ambience was calm, clean, and beautifully relaxing — the perfect space to unwind. The energy of the place is warm and welcoming from the moment you step in. I booked a session with Taiwan, and she was absolutely incredible. Her technique was both therapeutic and soothing, and she took the time to understand my needs before starting. I left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and completely rebalanced. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a quality massage in a peaceful, professional setting. I’ll definitely be back!”

Royal Wellness started as a home-based massage therapy in 2017 before eventually expanding into a clinic. We think their growth reflects their dedication to offering more people personalised care.

What stood out to us the first time we encountered this centre was their comprehensive services. From massage to reflexology, they have it. They also offer face and body treatments, along with spa packages.

Since we’re interested in their lymphatic massage, we immediately inquired about it. A 60-minute lymphatic drain massage costs $115, while a 90-minute one is $170. The rates are on the higher side, but we think they’re fair given the quality of service.

Clients often praise their therapists, specifically Hemant. A client said that Hemant does a great job at personalising the approach to what each area needs. Whether it’s lymphatic drainage or deep tissue massage, the feedback was consistently positive.

Convenience is another highlight. They offer direct billing, group bookings, and an easy-to-use online booking system.

The only downside we noticed is that there are occasional last-minute therapist changes. Some clients have been disappointed when they couldn’t stick with their preferred therapist due to availability.

Pros

  • Personalised care
  • Comprehensive services
  • Direct billing available
  • Group bookings accepted
  • Easy online booking system

Cons

  • Higher price point
  • Occasional last-minute therapist changes

Professional therapist

“I had a wonderful experience at this place. Big thanks to therapist Gagan for her professionalism and body care tips. 1000% for their private aroma sauna.

Customer service is 12/10”

-Ms. Mariia Chebukina, Google Review

Super relaxing

“I had such a great experience at Royal Wellness! The place has a super relaxing vibe, and everyone there was so friendly. Anna, my therapist, was amazing! She really knew how to work out all the tension and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. I walked out feeling refreshed and totally relaxed. Definitely recommending Anna and Royal Wellness to anyone who needs a good massage!”

Blessed Hands Massage Therapy opened in 2020, initially focusing on clients with muscular and joint health issues. By 2023, they expanded their services and hired experienced Registered Massage Therapists.

When we say they expanded, they really offered lots of services since then. From prenatal to child massage, they have it now. That means their services are more accessible to a wider client base.

We found their lymphatic drainage massage sessions flexible. They have sessions ranging from 30 minutes to 120 minutes. Not every clinic provides shorter sessions, so we really like this.

We also found their pricing affordable. Rates start at $65, which is cheaper compared to other centres.

Another thing we absolutely love is that they have a hands-on owner, Suma. Clients who received sessions from Suma shared that their concerns were properly addressed. The pressure was just right, which is a big deal in massage therapy.

Service is good. Pricing is affordable. However, we tried booking a lymphatic drainage massage online, and it isn’t in the service category of the booking form. You need to call them to book this massage, which is a bit of a hassle.

Pros

  • Established and growing clinic
  • Diverse range of services
  • Flexible session durations
  • Affordable pricing
  • Hands-on owner
  • Open 7 days a week

Cons

  • Online booking limitations

Great experience

“I had a great experience with Suma as my massage therapist. She is incredibly skilled and knowledgeable, and her expertise really shows in her work. She is very kind and welcoming!”

-Ms. Arsh Kaur, Google Review

Skilled therapist

“Absolutely loved my experience at Blessed Hand Therapy! I visited for a relaxation massage, and it was truly the best I’ve had in a long time. The ambience was soothing, the therapist was skilled and attentive, and I left feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and treat themselves to some well-deserved pampering!”

Therapeutic Body Concepts Massage is a well-established wellness centre with multiple branches in St. Albert, South Edmonton, and Sherwood Park.

One of the first things we noticed when we visited was how spacious their clinic feels. They have lots of open space and natural lighting, so the clinic felt very calm and welcoming. It doesn’t have that cramped vibe that we usually find in massage centres.

We were also impressed by how clean the massage rooms were. They’re also dimly lit during sessions, which contributes to the overall sense of relaxation.

We also love that their therapists are experts in a wide range of massage treatments. From sports massage to couples massage, they can handle it.

Their manual lymphatic drainage treatments start at $90 for a 30-minute session. For us, it’s a bit pricey. We understand that they have qualified therapists, but the cost might not be for everyone, especially for first-timers.

Clients, though, are satisfied with the quality of the massage. One client even thanked her therapist, Alexa, for listening to her needs regarding the areas she felt needed more focus.

Pros

  • Has multiple locations
  • Spacious and calming clinic
  • Clean and relaxing massage rooms
  • Wide range of treatments available
  • Experienced therapists
  • Online booking available
  • Open 7 days a week
  • Direct billing available

Cons

  • Not budget-friendly

Smooth and friendly service

“It was my first massage in a long time, and I couldn’t have been happier! Check-in was smooth and friendly, with my benefit of the direct billing set up before I walked in the door.

I had Kathryn today, and she was amazing. I told her I just wanted to relax and was on my feet all day at work, and she took care of the rest. I had my next appointment booked before I got home!”

-Mr. Steven Michelau, Google Review

Great massage

“I had a great massage with Kiran today! I had a 45-minute massage, which I recommend as 30 is just not quite enough, but 60 is too long for me. My wife and I see Kiran all the time, and I highly recommend her.”

Wellness On Whyte has a decade of experience in the wellness industry. With services ranging from acupuncture and homoeopathy to massage services, it’s a convenient spot for clients who want multiple treatments under one roof.

They offer lymphatic drainage massage, which many first-timers described as both satisfying and relaxing. One client said that she went there exhausted but left feeling refreshed after her session.

We’re also surprised that they offer bio-lymphatic drainage facial massage. A client who had this said that it’s an amazingly relaxing session with her therapist, Rene. She also highlighted that Rene is very conscious of her comfort and what exactly she needs.

However, we have to be honest that this clinic has the priciest lymphatic drainage massage we’ve encountered. Their 90-minute sessions cost $160, while a 120-minute session costs $210.

Also, they don’t have shorter sessions available. This is not ideal for those who simply want to try lymphatic drainage massage for the first time or those who are on a tight budget.

Pros

  • Established reputation
  • Comprehensive services
  • Specialised offering
  • Skilled therapist
  • Accessible location

Cons

  • No shorter sessions
  • A bit expensive

Knowledgeable and experienced therapist

“First time tried Lymphatic drainage massage, it was the best went in there exhausted and came out breathing just fine. Noelle is very knowledgeable, she knows what she is doing, very experienced, definitely going back to her again.. Very happy with the experience today.”

-Ms. Gurpreet Kaur, Google Review

Relaxing session

“I had an amazingly relaxing session with Rene.  The environment and professionalism made me very relaxed. I had a bio-lymphatic drainage facial and pedicure, and I will definitely have another. I recommend Rene.  She was very conscious of my comfort and my needs. Thank you”
