Their range of services isn’t as extensive as the other companies on this list, but we think they’re worth the mention because of their consistently efficient service and professional technicians.
All employees At Capital Plumbing have had thorough background checks, so any plumber or technician going to your house is fully vouched for. Moreover, they also mind their manners, wear shoe covers, and leave your home spotless before they leave, which we really like.
With an A+ Better Business Bureau rating, Capital Plumbing has a pretty good reputation. Clients we talked to also said that it tends to stick to its quoted price.
The company won’t charge you overtime or “half-time” no matter how long it takes to get to your location, evaluate your concern, and educate you on options.
That being said, there is a slight change in the initial service fee on weekends. It’s pretty reasonable, though.

This is my second time using the team at capital heating and plumbing and I can honestly say their team has some real heroes. We had the pleasure of having Jesse Piech as our plumber today he was on time respectable and he even went out of his way to help get the neighbours cat out of a tree on his lunch break I might add all well his pogo went cold( luckily he installed our new range all before lunch so he could warm it up) Capital plumbings team swept and whipped down the area they worked in and cleaned up all the mess and left our home looking even better than when they got there.I would recommend this company to anyone needing service done right with great people it was nice to have trades men with out potty mouths and can clean up after ones self. -Josh H.

One of the things we like most about them is that they’re on call 24/7, so they’re easy to contact for emergencies and can dispatch a technician to your location immediately.
We also like that their fees are discussed and agreed upon before the service is done. So, you won’t get surprise bills or extra costs with your invoice, even on holidays and weekends and whatever time of the day.
Each team member at this company is highly trained and nationally certified to wear the Technician Seal of Safety on their uniforms. Their plumbers are highly skilled and efficient, based on what we’ve seen.
What’s more, Always Plumbing & Heating apparently has a reputation for being punctual for jobs. We can’t contradict that because they actually showed up early for our appointment!
We found them professional and easy to talk to. They also answered all of our questions promptly, aside from doing the job quickly.
This was pretty much what we expected for a plumbing service so many people recommended to us. What really sets them apart, we think, is that repairs and installations here come with a full 90-day warranty.
In fact, if they can’t fix your problem after you invoke the warranty, you’ll even get a full refund.
Should the price of the services get too hefty, they have in-house financing options. Plus, they have lots of promos as well where you can get good deals – they usually advertise these on their social media, if you want to track them.
We do wish they also had other financing options as you’re only limited to their in-house program.
If you’re looking for a more long-term agreement, they also have membership plans. They have two tiers for different budgets.
You also have to pay the more expensive fee for a lifetime warranty on their services, so that’s something to consider.

Nathan came to our house later in the evening, just a couple of hours after calling to ask for service. He respectfully wore a mask when we requested. He was friendly and calm which our rescue dog, who barks at almost anyone who enters our home, loved. He provided costs for each repair upfront and required signatures to show we gave informed consent! I have never dealt with another company who does such a nice job at this. Nathan went right to work. The second toilet required he go back to the office, which was a fair distance away. We thought a new repair date would be requested but Nathan was happy to continue until the job was finished. He provided us information about other services the company offers. We will be switching which plumbing service we call now. Our current plumbing service told us they could not accommodate our call until 4 day later! Very helpful and efficient
The plumber who came to troubleshoot a toilet overflow we had was very helpful and efficient. He was straightforward with his explanation and didn’t recommend any unnecessary work. We were able to get an estimate from him for a kitchen sink install and bathroom sink replacement and ended up saving money with their subscription plan(which paid for itself in the savings on the installs we will be getting). On Point Plumbing and Gas is a family-owned business founded in 2003. Since then, they have been a reliable company in Edmonton known for their consistently great service and professional technicians.
They’re among the best ones to call for drain cleaning and sewer backup services. They have over 15 years of experience and have high standards when it comes to safety and cleanliness.
They’ve also won awards such as the Top Choice Award in 2021 and Preferred Installer award from Pro Squad.
They appear to be good at striking a balance between cost-effectiveness and clients’ needs, according to the people we talked to. They often offer clients multiple options and have a reputation for being straight to the point when you consult with them.
Anyway, we learned that they do a lot of sewage backup jobs. Sewage backup is often an emergency and needs same-day services to prevent any further damage to the property.
Their technicians use a mechanical auger or high-pressure jetter to rid the sewer line of any clogs in cases like these. To ensure their work is done correctly, they’ll also use remote video cameras designed specifically for drain lines to search for the root cause of the problems.
This tells you that their team is both well-equipped and trained for specialist tasks. They can do less emergent or simpler jobs too, obviously, but their skill with complex ones indicates what one can expect from them.
Anyway, we were fairly impressed with them after their own plumbing job for us. There’s little to criticize in terms of service… though we do wish they had annual maintenance programs or memberships for businesses like the other companies on this list.

Apollo Plumbing has been serving Edmonton and its surrounding areas for over half a century already. After trying them ourselves, it wasn’t hard to see why they’ve built a strong reputation as a company all these years.
For one, they’re very versatile and can handle a wide range of residential and commercial plumbing jobs. In particular, their specializations are fixing emergency plumbing problems and drain and sump pump issues.
Personally, we were dealing with an emergency sump pump issue and saw firsthand how they’re very efficient and hands on. They diagnosed the main issue and helped prevent further water damage by replacing the sump pump quickly.
We like that this company does not charge a service call or call-out fee for emergency concerns. They are upfront with pricing so we knew what to expect – so no added stress because of extra fees.
Speaking of fees, they have financing options you can apply for that will allow you to pay your balance in increments. This is very useful especially for emergency repairs you haven’t prepared for.
One thing we did notice, though, is that their website is outdated and lacks a lot of information, making it harder to easily look through their services and offers. We found that it’s better to give them a call directly for inquiries and booking.

We found that despite being one of many franchises, their Edmonton branch is consistent with the original Mr. Rooter brand of integrity and customer focus they’re known for.
Its owner is pretty invested in the community – so there’s still a personalized touch to their services, which is something we appreciate. One way this is seen is through their efficient customer service.
They’re very responsive to inquiries and concerns and are very reliable with updates. You really feel taken care of, based on our experience.
We also like that they’re highly accessible. Since they’re open 24/7, they’re a good option for cases that need immediate attention.
They schedule the service as quickly as possible and the technicians are punctual. They also have the widest range of plumbing services available among the companies in this list.
They’re great to call when you need general maintenance or if you don’t know what the issue is, because chances are, they have the specific plumbing service you need – and then some.
We also like how they continuously innovate old techniques by using efficient new technology, as seen in their HydroScrub® – Jetting service that blasts clogs and debris from your pipes quickly.
Their plumbers are also considerate and meticulous down to the little details. They even bring their own mats and even shoe covers, for example, and make sure to clean up after themselves.
To add to all that, they have transparent pricing and don’t charge the odd extra fees that sometimes drive up other plumbers’ final bills. Still, we find their services quite expensive.
To be fair, you do get your money’s worth because of their extra level of care, but they’re not the best ones to call if you’re on a tight budget.
They do offer flexible payment options in case you don’t have the money on hand. You also might benefit from their membership plan that gives you priority scheduling, preferential pricing, and other perks open for businesses and homeowners alike.

Their expertise can be seen in their ability to handle a wide range of plumbing repairs, from small and quick fixes, to extensive repairs and piping concerns.
They won the HomeStars award on three separate years because of their great track record and superb customer service and we can attest to this. We don’t seem to be the ones who think so, a lot of their previous clients also praise them for their excellence on the job.
For us, one of our favorite things about them is the fast and accurate diagnosis of plumbing problems upon checkup. They’re very innovative as well as seen in the products they offer for drain maintenance.
They sell BioSmart Technologies products, which are all environmentally-friendly alternatives to cleaners and organic degradation applications. Bio Drain, Bio Flush, and Bio Puck (their three main products), are reliable, effective, and affordable – we tried them and loved every single one.
That being said, Eazy Peazy Plumbing doesn’t do emergency jobs, meaning that they aren’t the ones to call if your basement is flooding in the middle of the night. If you need something checked ASAP, look into the other companies on this list that offer emergency services.
Another thing we noticed is that their website and online forms are outdated, making it hard to look through their services and see their offers. It’s a minor nitpick, but we have to mention it anyway.

In terms of specializations, what they really excel in is installing and maintaining plumbing systems for the commercial sector.
In particular, they have extensive experience with the process piping for institutional facilities, manufacturing plants, and food and beverage companies.

Richfield plumbing is an outstanding company and their staff is very versatile and knowledgeable about there duties. Personally, we just didn’t like the fact that we wouldn’t know the final cost until the job was done and the billable hours were calculated. With that, we mostly hire them for quick jobs and small fixes because that’s where you’ll get the best deal, we think.
As for warranty, service work done by Butler’s Plumbing is guaranteed for 30 days, while renovations or new installations are good for 1 year or the manufacturer’s warranties.
Objectively, the time period covered by the guarantee is shorter than most warranties from other companies. However, this guarantee is free and you won’t have to pay a premium to cover it unlike with warranties.
You’re in good hands with their plumbers because as a member of the Mechanical Contractors Association of Alberta and Canadian Hydronics Council (CHC), employees are kept updated on the current technology and information in their industry.
Their technicians are also very professional and well-mannered. We didn’t have a hard time setting an appointment and they came to our place on time.

Booked service with Butler Plumbing for the first time. Was pleased to book with no hassle and they send the most experienced plumber ‘Chad’ to my home. No doubt he outpaced all the plumbers that I ever saw, deeply knowledgeable and was able to fix the issue within the period.

One thing we noticed, however, is they have a limited range of plumbing services offered compared to other companies on this list. So that’s something to consider.
Despite that, we like this company because of the skilled technicians who are very hands on and professional at all times. On our service call, our assigned technician arrived before the agreed upon time and is generally very responsive to our questions and concerns.
Aside from emergency repairs, they also specialize in appliance installations and how they relate with your plumbing. Their installations are always seamless and they have great after-service support in case you encounter problems after installation.
A-1 Rooter Plumbing also offers a lot of special promotions such as discounts on hot water tanks and price cuts on their services. We suggest keeping in touch with them or following them on social media so that you can get first dibs on these time-limited offers.
We do wish they offer memberships or annual maintenance programs especially for commercial businesses, though. They also don’t offer financing, which is a drawback since plumbing emergencies usually cost a lot to fix.
