This park will again be transformed into an immersive and adrenaline-pumping haunted attraction this Halloween.

What is Dark at Fort Edmonton Park? 

Dark at Fort Edmonton Park is a Halloween festival featuring spooky haunts and entertainment. 

This October 2022, you can experience three separate haunts – Under the Big Top, Core Industries, and Blood Harvest.

What Lingers in the Dark? 

With one ticket, you can try three haunts featuring thrilling and creative storylines. The tentative dates and times for the event are as follows. 

Note that the exact schedule is yet to be confirmed in August. 

That’s why if you’re planning a surprise date or a night of horror party, check the park’s official website first. 

Nonetheless, if you’re not afraid of the dark, here are the haunts you can explore. 

Under the Big Top  

If you think you’ll be visiting a place filled with music and dance performances, you’re wrong. 

See the Midway Big Top in a different light (or should we say in total darkness) as it transforms into a nightmare circus. 

This horror circus is run by a killer clown and wicked minions fond of mutilating and tearing their clueless audience apart. 

Don’t worry. They promise to sew the bodies back together right after. 

Want to explore this circus? Watch out for the clown because he’ll come to you whether you’re ready or not. 

Core Industries 

The second haunt, Core Industries, is great for people who love solving mysteries. You see, the storyline for this haunt starts with a fungal parasite outbreak two years ago. 

Due to the outbreak, the laboratory was shut abruptly. The workers are left and sealed inside –  which seems like a serious case that should be raised with employment lawyers!

Back to the plot, the infection caused by the fungal parasite affected all the workers, so they gruesomely mutated into unimaginable creatures. 

You will have to join a special operative team to curb the infection. Your goals are to assess the situation inside and retrieve a sample of the fungal parasite. 

Sounds pretty easy, right? The question is, can you get out unscathed and uninfected? 

Blood Harvest 

Based on the storyline, this haunt is aptly named – Blood Harvest. It all starts with a family experiencing a rough and fruitless farming year. 

Due to that, they decided to sell their souls to the demons. 

Unfortunately, the whole family is turned into bloodthirsty shadows in exchange for the bountiful harvest. Moreover, they are condemned to harvest blood from clueless victims to water the crops.

If you ever find yourself wandering in this eerie house, do your best to get out and don’t come near the scarecrows!
