Winter SoltsICE is a fantastic series of events for the entire family to enjoy winter adventure and entertainment in Edmonton this Christmas.

From December 23, 2022 to January 1, 2023, parents and children are in for a fun and exciting 12 days of special events.

On December 23, your entire family can grab their skates and skate with Santa and carolers. 

In addition, there will be a special Santa Tracker Skate on December 24, a Christmas Day Family Skate on December 25, and more free public skating on most days throughout the winter.

Within the "decked halls" of ICE District Plaza, Edmonton families can also enjoy hot food and warm (or cold) beverages, outdoor heaters, and live entertainment.

Fans can come down to the ICE District to take advantage of the deals or shop online for their Boxing Day sale on December 26th. This is in addition to the holiday sale that is currently taking place for Christmas shoppers.

Edmonton Oilers fans of all ages will see some of the team's best players compete in various skill categories, including the popular Fastest Skater and Hardest Shot competitions.

New Year’s Eve at ICE District is also a must-see event in the city this holiday season. 

Following the Oilers vs. Jets game and a brief party, ICE District Plaza will be transformed into Edmonton's largest New Year's Eve celebration – complete with live bands, DJs, food, and beverages!

All with massive countdown screens and spectacular fireworks display at midnight, followed by live entertainment to ring in the new year.
