The 5 Best Pediatric Massages in Edmonton That’ll Help Your Little Ones Relax

We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

My friend, eager for her toddler to experience the benefits of massages, booked a session with high hopes. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing—her daughter was restless and the therapist seemed ill-equipped to handle young children.

The end result? Zero benefits and a cranky toddler.

Determined to help her find better options, I teamed up with the Best in Edmonton team and scoured the city for the best pediatric massage therapists. We reached out to several therapists and had in-depth conversations with parents who were regulars at these massage centers.

And now, we proudly present a curated list of pediatric massages in Edmonton that can actually make your little ones relax and feel better.

How much does it cost to get a pediatric massage in Edmonton?

Getting a pediatric massage in Edmonton costs at least 50 CAD. However, this price is just an estimate and the final cost will vary depending on the massage expert.

How We Chose

Credentials: We verified that the therapists had specialized training in pediatric massage. We picked those with certifications from the Registered Massage Therapists Association of Alberta (RMT) or the International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM).
Therapeutic Approach: We considered their approach to calming and soothing children, addressing developmental concerns, or managing pain or discomfort.
Child-Friendly Environment: We looked for a comfortable and welcoming space. We preferred those that have age-appropriate toys or distractions, and a calm and soothing ambiance.
Testimonials: We paid attention to feedback regarding the therapists’ effectiveness, professionalism, and the overall experience.

Staff are super friendly

“Staff are super friendly, I take my oldest here and she gets great care with Jamie.”

Pine Cone Health has greatly exceeded our expectations

“I have seen a few practitioners at Pine Cone for my young daughters and have only wonderful things to say! My oldest daughter was a bit late to start talking and so we worked with one of Pine Cone’s Speech Language Pathologists just after our daughter’s second birthday. Carly gave us some strategies to help encourage our daughter to start talking more and we are happy to report that she has been a little chatter box ever since! We have also worked with Megan, one of the registered dietitians at Pine, who has given us some strategies to help with picky eating, as well as ways to integrate more high-fibre foods into our children’s diets. We have twin daughters as well, and when one of them suddenly refused to take a bottle, we reached out to Brittney, one of Pine’s Lactation Consultants. She helped us come up with some creative strategies to encourage our 6 month old to drink from a bottle again. It is wonderful that Brittney has so much knowledge regarding infant feeding, whether that be breast or bottle feeding! Every service we have utilized at Pine and Pine Cone Health has greatly exceeded our expectations!”

She always provides the perfect pressure

“Amazing experience! I have been seeing Christine consistently for years, and she provides the best massage I’ve ever received. Every little detail, from heated table, music, and conversation (or none) makes all the difference. She always provides the perfect pressure, so you can tell she thoroughly understands all the muscles and how they work/feel. Highly recommend!”

I have never been so relaxed

“First time with Carly and it was like no massage I’ve ever experienced before.  I have never been so relaxed where I struggled to stay awake. A very surprising experience,  much appreciated.  Book another massage before leaving.”
