I have tried 10 different pizza places in this city and have come away disappointed every time – flimsy, thin crusts, skimpy toppings, bland, fake ingredients. A co-worker recommended Versato’s and crossed my fingers today and tried it (12″ Hawaiian).
What a revelation – it brought back memories of the mom and pop pizza joints I loved as a kid. Gooey cheese and lots of it, half a solid inch of REAL ham, lots of pineapple, and a solid, thick crust! Plus, these guys understand the meaning of “well done”.
I can see why they offer to split the ingredients in half and make it as 2 lighter pizzas if you wish – I ate three pieces and was full.
Definitely worth the extra cost to order here; I will be back soon!

Great place for a take out pizza. Not really a sit down restaurant. Ordered the T-Rex pizza. Was a huge meaty tasty pizza. Must have a good inch of meat and cheese. Had good flavor and crust was slightly crunchy. Staff was friendly and courteous. Price seemed high till I seen how thick topping was. Then it seemed reasonable.

This is my favorite pizza in Edmonton. Absolute legend. Authentic Italian food in Edmonton, these guys use the proper ingredients imported from Italy. The palace special (hold the mushrooms because why would people eat fungus) is the best pizza I’ve had in my life. I’ve also had their steak and pasta, just excellent. A small pizza joint in a strip mall in south west Edmonton with big quality and value! We got 2 large pizzas that fed a family of 4 with leftovers for another meal yet for about 30 bucks.
