For me, Nina’s Fashion & Tailoring’s reputation for expert craftsmanship is well deserved.
I wanted to see their skills for myself, so I brought in a formal dress for alterations, and they nailed it. Every detail was perfectly adjusted, so it’s easy to see why they’re known for handling bridal and formal pieces so well.
Not only was the fit perfect, but the staff also made the whole process feel very personal. They listened to what I wanted and made sure every adjustment suited me perfectly.
It was also such a relief knowing they can handle last-minute alterations for weddings or graduation events without any stress. Their ability to stay precise under tight deadlines really takes the worry out.
While waiting for my adjustments, I also checked out their selection of graduation and prom dresses. There’s a nice variety of different styles, and it’s easy to browse since the shop is conveniently close to West Edmonton Mall.
The only thing to note is that their rates are a bit higher than those of other local tailors, particularly for bridal or formal wear. The careful craftsmanship, however, makes the cost feel justified.

I really love how professional the seamstresses are at Manizheh Studio. When I had my niece’s flower girl dress altered here last month, they did a meticulous job. The fit was perfect, and they made sure it was comfortable for her to move in.
On top of that, they offered helpful suggestions on adjustments that really made the dress look better. That was a big help since I don’t really know much about tailoring.
The turnaround time was quick, but nothing felt rushed. They can also manage time-sensitive requests for events like weddings or formal celebrations, so we recommend them for those who need last-minute adjustments.
I also love that they can create custom pieces. According to some customers I talked to, the seamstress really listens during the consultation. Thanks to this, the pieces came out looking like what they wanted.

My dress started very simple and plain but Yara added straps, buttons, and re-made the entire bodice so it ended up looking like a custom made gown! I learned about Natalia from local recommendations while asking around about good seamstresses in Edmonton.
One thing I really love about her is how quickly she works. I brought in a pair of brand new jeans for tapering and hemming, and I received them that same day.
I was expecting the quality to not be on par with other seamstresses because of how fast I got my jeans, but the result exceeded my expectations. The seams were perfectly aligned, and the hem blended seamlessly with the original thread color.
Beyond the craftsmanship, I think part of the reason Natalia kept getting recommended is because of her friendly and approachable attitude. She’s also very fair with pricing and doesn’t nickel-and-dime new customers like some other shops do.
Additionally, she communicates clearly and keeps clients informed, making it very easy to work with her.
For everyday alterations, she’s a solid choice. However, if you’re looking for a more extensive custom or specialized tailoring service, you might have to look elsewhere.
