Guys like Chris Martin and Drake are instrumental in getting it done. Nearly every client we spoke to claimed they stayed efficient, polite, and careful, even if the move involved tricky spaces or stairs.
Nearly, not all. Some have moaned about minor property damage and broken dishes.
The quoters could be faster, too; there have been cases where 30 minutes passed before an estimate was sent.
Not having to adjust your routine helps, though. Eager Beaver works around a client’s schedule and can manage same-day deliveries when available.
What’s unique is they also have a 20,000-square-foot indoor facility for long hauls and portable containers that are weatherproof.

Ironically, Cactus Moving’s service is smooth. Movers like George, John, and Gift are consistently labelled as efficient, both in delivering furniture and assembling it.
Loads of “extras” also make them feel personal. We’re talking about hooking clients up with coffee in the morning or a cactus as a housewarming gift.
Booking your preferred date doesn’t require any payment either, and late changes or cancellations won’t incur penalties. This is ace for those gunning for a weekend or end-of-the month delivery.
Just keep in mind that most options are more established than Cactus, given their 2021 opening. A few complained about “inexperienced” crews that spent too much time on non-essential tasks.
The language barrier could be a deal-breaker for some as well. As reports note, they have movers who barely speak English.
On the pricing end, it’s all good. Many even say they have the cheapest rates in Edmonton.

Positive Attitude
Big shout out to George and Lovish who moved 4400 sq ft worth of furniture , in under 6 hours, during a snow storm. They arrived on time, with an extremely positive attitude despite knowing that they had to work in -25 degree weather.

If you need hard workers, the guys of Helping Hands Family Movers are often up to scratch. Several clients mentioned how movers like Austin and Steve work for hours without a break to ensure on-time delivery.
That usually doesn’t change when problems pop up. In the past, they’ve worked around issues like broken elevators, construction blocking access, limited street parking, and blocked driveways.
Prices staying local and transparent further ramps up their appeal. Two-man jobs start at $145, and getting quoted won’t cost a thing.
One drawback is they don’t always respond quickly. Someone even pointed out they never heard back from Helping Hands at all.
Adding to that, communication hiccups have led to issues like sending out the wrong number of movers.
The bright side is you can get a hand with packing as long as you give their specialists a heads-up.
They really care about your floors and walls!
Austin, Steve and his team helped us move two places into one home and they did an amazing job! They were able to complete the condo and duplex within 8 hours the day before our move and then helped move everything into our new build the following day! We had a lot of big heavy furniture but these guys were able to get a 24 ft truck offloaded in 6 hours with everything assembled! Great guys! They really care about your floors and walls! Two Small Men with Big Hearts Moving’s track record is as lengthy as their name. In fact, they’re our most seasoned pick, opening in 1982 and handling over 100k moves as of 2026.
Personally, it’s speed that keeps them running; moving a whole apartment’s worth of furniture in one day is possible with them. The same is true when pianos, dressers, and other speciality items are involved.

With 44-plus years in the business, however, missteps are expected, mainly a couple of property/item damages.

Very Honest
Two Small Men With Big Hearts Moving gave us SUCH a positive experience with our long distance move. Right from my initial contact, they were very accommodating with our booking. As well, they kept in contact several times leading up to our moving day, which I really appreciated. AND, they came in much lower on the quote, with no hidden fees or surprises. Very honest and straightforward.
The pick-up crew really hustled hard, yet were careful with our belongings. They were friendly with us and very kind and accommodating to our dog too lol! The unload crew was equally careful with our things and asked us with each load where we’d like it. And the driver, who also loaded and unloaded the truck, was fantastic. He really knew what he was doing, as absolutely nothing was broken or damaged in any way.

One unique bit about Last Stop Moving is its service list. For starters, only a handful of options provide “labour only” furniture moving, where you just pay for the manpower, not the truck and transport (these are the best truck rentals around if you need one).
Storage options are offered, too, which are convenient for clients who need time between long moves. You can store furniture for a week, a month, or more.
Best of all, emergency moves are within Last Stop Moving’s scope, and the process can be sped up by their packers.
Know what else is fast? Movers like Romeo and DJ, who rarely slow down despite working for over 12 hours straight.
Fees can run high, unfortunately. Even small-move clients describe the fees as “expensive,” with one client spending $1,410 for a 4.5-hour service, not counting the tip.
Logistical fails, primarily misjudging truck space, have also resulted in items not fitting in.

I was pleasantly surprised how easy, flexible and efficient it was to book my move with Donte – you just do not get this level of customer service nowadays….Fithawi and Sawyer arrived on time and the move went very well. I would highly recommend Last Stop for any of your moving requirements. Just a great, pleasant team to have help you with the challenges of moving!
