The Canadian Tire Magic of Lights is a “drive-through” experience from the comfort of your own car.

It's a relatively new holiday tradition worth trying in Edmonton, featuring more than 1.5 million sparkling lights and digital animations along a 2.5-kilometer magical route.

This year marks the sixth edition of the event, which will definitely include an even more magical route, spectacular displays, and animations.

Among the mesmerizing displays in the event is their 200' light tunnel, which will give you a dazzling, drive-through holiday experience. 

Favorite holiday scenes and characters of the season are also present, including the 12 Days of Christmas, Winter Wonderland, Bigfoot Monster Trucks, and Prehistoric Christmas.

New this year is the debut of the Barbie holiday light display as well as the brilliant "Oh, Canada" tribute tunnel.

If you want to enjoy the ride while also giving back to the community, go on Tuesdays when they have "Double Drive" Toy Tuesday. You'll bring a new, unwrapped gift for Santas Anonymous and drive twice through the lights.

Meanwhile, “Meals and Wheels” is a thing every Wednesday where you can bring a non-perishable donation for Edmonton's Food Bank and receive $5 off admission at the gate.

This event is also family-friendly. Parents and kids can capture magical memories through photo meet and greet with Santa Claus. Everyone is invited to bring their wish lists and favorite PJs for the ultimate "Drive-In" Santa experience.

Another popular attraction is the Holiday Pavilion, where every guest can enjoy an exclusive fireside experience.

This venue is intended to provide an intimate and casual experience with a dash of magic, perfect not just for families but also for couples.

To add to the enchantment, they serve VIP S'Mores and Charcuterie, as well as the opportunity to roast a marshmallow while listening to your favorite holiday tunes!
