A wedding is a sacred ceremony that brings two people together in front of their beloved family and friends. It’s natural to want the best and most memorable things for that ceremony!
Now, aside from finding the best rings and bridal gowns, one of the most hectic parts of the wedding planning process is finding a venue.
Luckily for you, we’ve already put together a list of the best unique wedding venues in the city right here. Check them out below!
Mirage Banquet Hall

The Mirage Banquet Hall is one of Edmonton’s premier halls usually used for weddings, banquets, and receptions. It has an indoor setting and a covered outdoor event space for wedding ceremonies.
What’s great about this banquet hall is that you can pick the style, theme, and entertainment style you prefer for your wedding. It has two halls that can accommodate more than 800 people, depending on your preferred layout.
You can have the halls set in banquet style or reception style. Besides that, you can request the floor plans if you prefer to tweak the hall’s layout.
We also like the variety of catering services they offer. Whether you want a buffet, family-style dinner, hors d’oeuvres, French service, or cocktail reception, the whole staff can cater to your needs.
The Royal Palace

The Royal Palace is an event facility for banquets, conferences, corporate functions, and special occasions.
It’s an excellent venue for wedding ceremonies and receptions because it features two event spaces that can take in 950 guests.
Every bride deserves to be in the spotlight during this special day, so the Royal Palace offers a beautiful grand staircase to give brides an impactful and fairytale-like entry. Hire a wedding photographer and videographer to capture this memorable event.
What makes this event space unique is its starlight dance floor. The newlyweds can enjoy their magical first dance on a LED floor that twinkles in different colors.
Furthermore, they offer diverse menu options to suit the theme and flavor you want for your wedding. Some of the cuisines their chefs specialize in are the Indian menu, Gurudwara menu, Continental menu, and Hors d’oeuvres menu.
Studio96

Studio96 is a rustic event space in downtown Edmonton. It was once a historic church, but it was redeveloped into a cozy and Moroccan-themed venue.
It may not be as spacious and grand as other event halls, but it’s a favorite pick for wedding ceremonies, receptions, and bridal showers.
It’s great for intimate weddings because their wedding ceremony and banquet reception packages are good for 150 guests, while the ceremony and cocktail-style receptions can accommodate 200 guests.
Edmonton Convention Centre

Edmonton Convention Centre is a 150,000 square feet (13,936 square meters) banquet hall for various events.
If you prefer to hold the ceremony with the picturesque view of the North Saskatchewan River Valley as your backdrop, you can pick the Riverview Room. However, this room can only accommodate 80 to 140 guests.
Alternatively, you can choose the Salon Ballrooms if you prefer a larger space. The rooms are customizable and can take in 80 to 400 guests.
All-inclusive packages are also available for couples looking for a one-stop shop and service provider for their wedding. These packages include the service of an in-house team of 11 Red Seal chefs led by chef Serge Belair – Canadian Chef of the Year (2012).
